VEGAN

The quality label of vegan and vegetarian products

V-Label is an internationally registered and recognized symbol, dedicated to the labeling of vegan and vegetarian products and services. For consumers it is the simplest and most reliable guide in choosing products.
The legal registration of V-Label was made in 1996, being used over the years on countless products from brands belonging to small family businesses to those belonging to the largest supermarket chains in Europe.
Currently V-label is the most widely used vegetarian and vegan symbol worldwide.
Although seemingly simple, using V-Label on a product certifies compliance with a series of strict rules, conditions, norms and many other quality requirements.

Vegan Diet
Vegan diet is a strict form of vegetarianism, characterized by total avoidance of animal products. Vegans do not eat any meat, seafood, dairy products, eggs or any other animal product, such as honey or gelatin.
A balanced vegan diet consists of herbal foods, including fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and grains.
A proper vegan diet offers many health benefits, but to avoid nutritional deficiencies it must be planned with much more attention and knowledge than the omnivorous one.

The contribution of nuts, hazelnuts and seeds in the vegan diet
Including nuts, peanuts and seeds in a vegan diet provides the basis for a well-balanced and tasty diet at the same time.
Nuts provide an essential nutrient in a vegan diet to prevent deficiencies and unilaterality, while enriching flavor and variety of taste.
One of the elements that vegans need to make smart choices for is zinc, because the largest quantities are found naturally in animal products, such as meat and cheese. Again, nuts, especially Brazil and pine nuts, can provide a significant amount of zinc.
Calcium can be obtained from foods such as almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts and various nuts.
Iron is harder to be found in herbal foods, but the combination of C-rich fruits and vegetables helps to absorb iron from cashews, almonds, pistachios or hazelnuts.
